Theophilite,
I am very keen to watch the work and actions of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education of the Holy Bishopry of Limassol, which is successfully completing this year its 10 years of operation.
As a Member of the European Parliament, I recognize the great importance of activities and initiatives aimed at engaging students in experiential learning, giving the members of our society the opportunity to cooperate, experience, respect and protect the environment.
I consider that the 10 Environmental Education Programmes offered free of charge to students of all levels of education in Cyprus are fully responsive to the effort for better understanding environmental issues, for environmental awareness, cultivation of the necessary skills, attitudes and behaviours that will help in sustaining our planet.
I wish you good strength and I remain at your disposal whenever you deem necessary my help and contribution.
Yours sincerely
Antigoni Papadopoulou
Member of the European Parliament
