Organic agriculture refers to an integrated system of production and management of agricultural products. Additionally, it enhances agro-ecosystem health taking into account biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity. It protects the environment at all stages of the ecosystem management, while it defends the health of consumers, without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Organic agricultures do not contain dangerous substances for our health and guarantee the authenticity of the related organizations of production. Additionally, the products have more vitamins and minerals, thus are more nutritious. Also, organic agriculture contributes to the effort of protecting the environment and preserve biodiversity. From the other side, Conventional Agriculture uses chemical fertilizers during the production, which harm the environment.
