The aims of the Environmental Education Program “Traditional uses of Cyprus plants” are:
Students

To learn and to get familiarized students the plants that are used in the Cypriot traditions.

To understand the process of their collection and their processing.

To find out the products made from these plants.

To investigate the relationship between man and the uses of these plants.

To develop critical thinking ability as they will encounter the problem of degradation and disappearance of traditional knowledge associated with plants.

To realize the great importance of maintaining traditional uses of plants as well as to develop positive attitudes and values.
