We are forwarding you the greeting of the School Board of Limassol on the occasion of the 10 years of operating and offering of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education of the Holy Bishopry of Limassol.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the School Board of Limassol we congratulate both the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education and the Holy Bishopry of Limassol for the very important work they perform within the context of environmental education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within these 10 years of CYCERE\u2019s operation, thousands of students from schools of the Limassol School Board and schools from all over Cyprus were given the opportunity to attend the Environmental Education Programmes provided by CYCERE and to be educated on the topics of biodiversity, environmental protection and sustainability. They were thus given the opportunity to acquire knowledge, cultivate attitudes, shape values and apply environmentally friendly and sustainable development behaviours.<\/span><\/p>\n

The actions of CYCERE of the Holy Bishopry of Limassol in these 10 years are not only limited to environmental education but also extend to environmental research and environmental information with great success in these fields as well. This success was also sealed by the respective awards won.<\/span><\/p>\n

The School Board of Limassol once again congratulates you for the brilliant work of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education. We wish your work to be strengthened and receive the appropriate support from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Cyprus State in general to continue to offer for many decades yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also express our thanks to the staff of CYCERE who work tirelessly and qualitatively to raise awareness of our youth in protecting the environment by making them active environmental citizens.<\/span><\/p>\n

Initiatives such as the one of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education for selfless, unprofitable and quality offering to the country under such difficult economic circumstances, are bright examples that should be fully supported and strengthened.<\/span><\/p>\n
