I am referring to your letter on 14\/10\/2013 regarding the above subject and I quote the following comments on the occasion of the celebrations for the 10 years of operation of CYCERE.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education (CYCERE) of the Holy Bishopry of Limassol completes 10 years of operation with remarkable action in the field of environmental education. Particular reference should be made to the 10 Environmental Education Programmes that the Centre provides to students of all levels of education.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Directorate of Primary Education considers that Environmental Education is an important field of education and action. Through Environmental Education we promote collaborative learning, empathy, experiential activities, action education and participatory democratic processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elements and features that prerequisite and at the same time promote critical thinking skills, participation and vision creation. Through these functional skills, we want to reach active participation and action in the sensitive, active and critically minded citizen of the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The contribution of independent bodies involved in environmental issues, either in the field of research or in the field of education, is valuable. The Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education (CYCERE) of the Holy Bishopry of Limassol has proved its veracity to be true with its ten-year operation and its substantive intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n
