{"id":9352,"date":"2016-03-28T15:38:24","date_gmt":"2016-03-28T12:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kykpee.org\/?p=9352&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2020-04-13T11:14:47","modified_gmt":"2020-04-13T08:14:47","slug":"1st-cyprus-celebration-international-day-protection-wetlands-2005","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kykpee.org\/en\/1st-cyprus-celebration-international-day-protection-wetlands-2005\/","title":{"rendered":"1st Cyprus Celebration of the International Day of the Protection of Wetlands, 2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 1.5;\">The 1st official celebration of the World Wetlands Day was held on January 30th, 2005 at the premises of the CYCERE, at the farm of St. Nicholas and the Holy Monastery of St. Nicholas, \u00a0in the Akrotiri Peninsula.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The program included a greeting from the Honorary President of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education \u2013 Bishop of Limassol Mr. Athanasios, an introductory speech about the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education by Dr. Andreas Hadjihambis, a tour in the area of the Cyprus Centre for Environmental Research and Education as well as a symbolic tree planting.
