The aims of the Environmental Education Program “Biodiversity: The diversity of life“ are:
Students:
- To learn and to get familiarized with the concept of the biodiversity, giving emphasis on the 3 levels of biodiversity: genetic diversity, diversity of species and diversity of landscapes.
- To realize the great value and importance of biodiversity both for humans as well as for the other living organisms – plants and animals, so as to develop positive values and attitudes towards biodiversity.
- To realize and to investigate the threats and the dangers that lead to the reduction of biodiversity and to the extinction of species.
