Κυπριακό Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Έρευνας & Εκπαίδευσης – Κυκπεε
On the 17th of November 2012, a PROFILES meeting took place at Cyprus Center for Environmental Research and Education, focusing on a training workshop regarding field-based inquiry. PROFILES is a European project that is focused on in-service science teachers training aiming to promote learning and teaching in science. Educators from all the PROFILES groups (Biology Group, Chemistry Group, Primary Education Group) attended the workshop.
Within the framework of this meeting the educators had the chance to learn about field-based inquiry, by participating into a sequence of experiential activities, within the frame of the Environmental Education Program “The world of the coast”. In addition, during the second half of the meeting the educators worked collaboratively in their groups on the development of their learning environment.
